Outline Itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu
& transfer to Hotel.
Day 2 : Local sightseeing
of Kathmandu . Overnight stay at Kathmandu .
Day 3 : Early
morning departure for Kodari border (border of Nepal ). Crossing of border (after
completion of Nepal custom formalities) from where Drive to Zangmu (9300ft) where
you will complete Chinese emigrations and customs formalities and will proceed
for Nyalam (12500ft). Night stay at beautiful scenic place near Nyalam near river.
Day 4 : Visit Milerappa caves enjoy mild trek and acclimatize
stay near Milerappa Caves .
Day 5 : Drive of about 250km
toward Saga (14800ft.). enroute enjoy sceinic Lake Peikutso, Xixapangma Mountains
. Overnight stay near Bhrahmaputra River .
Day 6 : Drive
of about 300km before Horpa (15100ft). Overnight on the bank of Bhrahmaputra River
.
Day 7 : Drive of about 250km to Mansarovar camp (15400ft)at
the shore of Mansarovar .
Day 8 : Morning Pooja, holy
bath at Mansarovar. After lunch, Mansarovar Parikrama by Motor Home. Short Drive
to Dharchen (Base camp of Kailash) 15600ft. Overnight near Dharboche.
Day 9 : Those who wish to go for the Parikrama of Mt. Kailash
will start trekking & reach Dehraphuk (16300ft) where they will camp overnight.
Those who do not go for the Parikrama will stay at Dharboche for Pooja etc. of
Mt. Kailash .
Day 10 : The group undertaking the Parikrama
will further trek to Zuthulphuk (16000ft). It will cross Dolmala pass (18500ft)
enroute. Overnight camp at Zuthulphuk. Those not gone for Parikrama will go near
Dharchen then will go on other end of Kailash & will wait for group returns.
Day 11 : Short trek from Zuthulphuk to complete Parikrama
& meet others at Motor Home. then drive to Mansarovar near Hora Chu where
will stay at the shore of Mansarovar .
Day 12 : Drive
to 300 Km overnight before Shuoge La near River.
Day 13 : Drive
to Saga overnight near River Bhrahmaputra.
Day 14 : Drive
to Zangmu Overnight between Nyalam & Zangmu.
Day 15 : Drive
to Kodari border & drive to Katmandu . Tranfer to hotel.
Day
16 : Transfer to Airport for your flight to next destination
